When i Online Search For OpenBox~
I Saw CM V1000W 80Plus But Actually The The Quality Oready Can Fight With Platinum And Near Platinum Grade ~

unless u have more than 1 gpu, to power a single 780, a psu with 550W is more than enough.

previous model of CM PSU keep giving me problem and I stop buying CM PSU.

currently using seasonic platinum psu which is really cool. the psu fan hardly spin. u compare and see which model is cheaper and good for ur system. getting a 1000W psu to power a single 780 is not rocommended cos u wont be hitting that gold efficiency rating anyway.

as long as a psu that is made by seasonic or superflower, their quality is very high end component.

for 780 SLi, its optimal to get a 850W PSU. cos the peak load of 780 SLi is 750W(88% load on psu) while gaming, but when its on idle its about 250W(only about 29.5% load on the 850W psu). this shows that while not gaming u r unable to achieve that gold rating efficiency and it wont save u any electricity bills. hence, getting a 1000W psu will be a waste of $.

Just to tell you, my extreme2 exploded in less than 2weeks.

Although yes low end psu from CM cannot trust. But their higher end range are ok. It is made by Seasonic.

But if you want cheap. Go for superflower. Their Gold and Platinum range are still cheaper than CM. And yet more trusted.

Second thing is i don't think you need till 1000w.

600w gold will do the job.

Either you can try getting the HX600 600w PSU.

If you want higher can pm me. I have spare psu.

I see~
yeah ,i will note it down that super flower,1000w maybe for future also~:s13::s13:
sure let me think it~i will contact u later if i need~^^
Unbelievable~:s13::s13::s13::s13:
but how extreme2 exploded got some picture show us and share us ~:D:D

You do not need till 1kW

It is just an overkill setup.

1000W does not mean that it has more power to your setup.

In actual loading test you are just drawing what you need only.

Just that how efficient will it be in terms of efficiency rate at certain loads. And just that how much power you draw from the wall and how much is it produced for your components. The more efficiency it has the lesser the heat loss you get.

Bronze silver gold or Platinum.

Yeah~:s13::s13::s13::s13:
