Anyone using EZ-Link NFC SIM with Android Pay?

Anyone using EZ-Link NFC SIM for buses/trains and using with Android Pay for other payments etc?

Since contact less terminals also accepts payment from EZ-Link, I'm thinking if it will be confused which payment you will be reading.

Any feedback how it will be used?

What I mean is that, when I tap my phone with NFC is on, what will the terminal read? Will it read the EZ-Link or Android Pay?

Will my phone let you choose what to use?

your phone will not let u choose which to use if you are comparing android pay and ezlink. because ezlink itself is not one of the tap&pay service.

its the reader that communicates with the phone to tell you which service to use. by default, the ezlink nfc is only active when the screen is off, so u can't use android pay.

if your screen is turned on, then when u scan at the reader, only android pay will get activated because ezlink is not triggered by the reader..

to avoid confusion, scan for ezlink only when screen is turned off.

No true. Regardless my phone screen on or off, it always deduct money from my ezlink instead of from my Google pay. Since from 4 Apr onwards LTA is going to launch contactless payment app to pay for MRT (Google pay Samsung pay etc), I wonder it will deduct from my Google pay or ezlink. I have a feeling that it still deducts from my ezlink.

Hello, you replying a 3 year old post? Of cos by now software has changed how mechanism operates.

You have to launch the mobile pay app if u intend to use, or else you’re just confusing the software to choose which is which.

I'm on NFC SIM from Singtel, but don't know how to use phone to pay bus or MRT. Never works.
