anyone using midea aircon?

Daikin is just pure rubbish compared to the other popular Japanese brand. I won't buy Daikin again, everything started dying after warranty ended. Total repair cost from beginning of 3rd year onwards till 6th year exceeded $3k even though these units were serviced every 3 month.

problem can be caused by cleaners never assembled properly after taking apart to clean

Cheap York aircon 6 year plus still strong, last longer than previous expensive Starmex model.

perhaps time to change your perspective about Ah tiong products. Have asked few ah tiong restaurants using Midea aircon, all of them said problem free and very infrequent servicing.

of all the brands, Daikin is the number 1 rubbish, pure garbage! 3 users personal experience, 3k repair fee in 4-5 years, all due to PCB and whatever rubbish issues!

i think rep need time to build

me 2nd condensor, either starmex or midea

sometime, call them for cleaning also can, might as well pressure wash, at least i know my limit

My DAIKIN coming to 6yrs, no break down, hopefully can last for 10yrs

starmex. provide u get proper piping. alot of installer like to use smaller pipe and lousy water drainage design, just get it installed properly. my old house the starmex was a whopping 10++ years, i coulsnt even rem since when until i go NS, grad and still working. eventually changed it cause not spoil but cause the casement was like super yellow liao so might as well. until now also 10 years plus liao, reuse back old piping and still working with no issues. but we service our aircon twice a year la, so maybe thats well can tahan so long

Yes and many don't know r32 gas pipe must use swg21 pipe. Most installers will tell buyer... Swg22 enough...

Midea was top in 2023. Anyway the top 3 brands in China are always Midea, Gree and Haier and they rotate.
