Magiclean wet floor wipes are thicker and in my opinion, appears to trap dust and bigger particles better because of the grooves in the thicker paper. But they cost a lot more, so you are better off just paying for cheaper alternatives that gets most of the job done. For wet wipes, I usually will vacuum the floor first, so bigger or heavier particles are usually gone by then.
For dry wipes, no point buying expensive ones. You probably can buy 3+ packs of dry wipes from some lesser brand, when you consider the cost of Magiclean ones.

Heard is cannot use both sides one...else the base of the sweep thing also full of dirt.
There is no restriction actually. The base of the mop is either plastic (Magiclean) or some sort of foam which, I feel generally don't attract dirt/ dust. But when flipping the wipe over to use on the other side, some dirt/dust will surely drop off. And another reason I don't recommend flipping over for wet wipes especially is because the wipe is mostly dry after 1 use. So flipping over is not going to be useful.

Likewise. I only use wet wipes after meal because kids drop food scrapes on the floor.

Err for wet ones after I wipe...I add water plus floor solution then mop again. So can maximize the use of the wet ones ..

You all use one side or both sides?

Use OEM wipes or buy from daiso?
Use both sides for dry wipes.

I will put a kitchen towel on the base then put dirty dry wipe facing it.

Buy dry wipes from Value$ or British Essential etc which ever is cheaper.

I use to use the cheap dry wipes bought from those ABC stores and they don't pick up dust/dirt/grime as well as those branded Magiclean ones. If I use the OEM ones i have to dry-mop more than once so you generally get what you pay for. I'm not brand conscious, I'm just very particular about cleanliness. I used to use those wet wipes but I still prefer the thorough cleanliness of traditional mop & a pail of cleaning floor lotion. I have tried different brands of OEM dry/wet wipes and I find the wet ones generally work better than the dry ones. Vacuum cleaner I only use on carpets.

Sorry low key ocd question. How often you clean? Do you also use those floor wipes on furniture?

I wipe the floor at least once a week or when my ocd says I need to do something
