Anyone who use sshd here??

Thought of getting one but not much info of it on the internet..
Few boot time videos and such but i really have no idea which sshd they are using and everything. What about compatibility and reliability with SSHD?? Seems like there r very less info on this. Saw on lazada 1TB sshd ard $130, is it worth ??

I am not a big fan of SSHD. The underlying mechanical drive is still very slow. The limited SSD NAND does help boost performance somewhat, as long as the application stays within the SSD. Unless you are using a device that can only have 1 drive, otherwise I will not recommend.

alright i get the idea.. because i need a faster drive as my hdd bottleneck my internet speed, guess it won't work for me then.

Personally, I feel it's better to get a smaller capacity SSD like 128gb with a separate mechanical hard drive. It shld perform significantly better and yet probably cost close to the price of the 1TB SSHD.

Well right now with SSD trying to go low already, just get a small cap SSD with 1 tb HDD.

Get a ssd bro. If cost is a problem, get a 120gb one as primary drive, store your files in 1tb hdd

Sshd are not worth the money.

Rather you spend the money on a low capacity ssd and the rest goes into hdd.

Like what I am doing, just get a 128GB SSD for the primary one so that your computer can booted up faster and the rest of the secondary storage used TB HDD as it's way way cheaper.

Now SSD prices had dropped so can buy liao.
