ANZ Optimum World Mastercard

Saw this in the Info Page at back of my latest ANZ statement. There seems to be a new upcoming ANZ credit card - Optimum World Mastercard Credit Card.

Annual fee is stated as S$180 for Principal card and S$80 for supplementary card.

i remember a retention officer vaguely shared with me as i cancelled my travel card.

They still maintain travel card is the best in their range

Well World MasterCard is supposed to be the 2nd top tier card, top being Elite World MasterCard. Kinda like how Visa's top tier is Visa Infinite an 2nd top tier is Visa Signature.

I guess ANZ is just catering to those who might prefer MC over Visa.

Just checked my stats not generated yet did you ask them to change stats date to 1st of every month?

Why would someone cancel a Travel Card?

Never used it last two years so decided to let go.

Nope. My statement is generated late of Dec 2014 and i have just read it as I was away on holiday during Xmas.

Usually World Mastercard income requirement will be quite high , around 80k pa.
