Aorus GTX1060 6gb

I was wondering if it is worth it to upgrade to a aorus GTX1060 6gb for 330sgd
I currently have a i5-4460 with gigabyte gtx 960 and I cant play blackout so i was thinking of upgrading to a 1060 but is 330sgd for a 1060 worth it?

960 to 1060 6gb is like 2 tiers jump. Having similar performance to the 980 previously.

Yes it is worth it if it is new $330. Not worth it if it is used.

Nope. Not worth.

1. It is old. Aged stuff die easier.
2. It's not as efficient. 980 draw more power just to perform equally to gtx 1060. Not to mention, more power consumption and more heat generated.

Hence, get something as new as you can.

980 takes up more power than 1060, so 1060 is a better buy. Can consider getting a used 1070 with warranty for <$400 though there's a high chance that its a mining card.

$599 range gtx 1070 ti is pretty good. Depending on your budget. Coz 1070 ti perform close to RTX 2070 performance while being cheaper.

I'd gotten a used Leadtek GTX1080 for $450 back in early September, and I know it was used as a mining card (saw the seller take out from one of his many mining rigs). I wasn't bothered by the fact it was a mining card, it still had about a good 2.5 years of warranty left, the card was originally bought sometime in March 2018. Plenty powerful even for 4K at reasonable ingame setting....

450 is a really good price for a 1080! My current 1070ti cost me roughly the same price(1 month ago) as your 1080 and it was also a mining card.

U guys think too highly for the 1060, even a gtx970 can win it
