like that also can report? no wonder mods are getting very busy. asking the person as a concern why that person is so free also can become name calling and insults? i think need a mod assigned to personally handle your complaints only?

edmw threads are mostly contains irrelevant contents. this is something we are used to and must acknowledged it. this is not some watches forum where ppl only talk about watches and nothing else. those out of topics is deemed as derailing.

the issue now is those that anyhow report, why they never take actions against those that anyhow report? but i feel ts is those that anyhow report things. why recently got such trends of anyhow report? i dun remember last time got ppl so free anyhow reporting things.

why you so kancheong? you can't say i anyhow report hor, i merely followed what was in mod's own words, i.e. not according to thread title. then as for name calling, mod also can anyhow say i refer to that person when i did not directly say him. then i simply browse a bit come across your post which is lagi more jialat in both aspects than my offending post then i report lor. if you say wrong you go and tell mod don't tell me. but somehow i tio infract and you didn't? cannot like that what.

in all honesty, derail is a stupid reason to infract. let's be real, this a forum. there is bound to be some bantering. does anyone expect discussions in a forum to never derail? i give another example, in a KYM thread about a girl, if someone were to say i think another girl more keyi. THEN LIKE THAT DERAIL LIAO LOR?! i personally feel that derail a bit ok what, you browse the forum now every thread also got a bit of derail. i've seen multiple threads where the discussions derailed until really not relevant to thread title already, what happened was mod (Ottoke i believe) would just close the thread saying things like thread has gone off topic or something, and never infract anyone. then it begs the question, why is my treatment so much different? how come got such double standards? let's not forget, i merely gave an example and was still sticking to thread title. like everyone here agrees, this judgement is ridiculous.

I think guidelines should be stickied to prevent further misunderstanding and perhaps also for other similar guidelines like do and don't for KYM thread to prevent deletion of it...

And also to get a general consensus among the mods to prevent big difference in moderation standards across different mods...

totally agree with this.

Exactly I do hope the moderation team can come to a consensus on what is the standard to handle such cases to prevent such misunderstanding.

Well those who reported are probably celebrating that my post resulted in points, but they didn’t ask themselves why did they even reported it in the first place…ashamed and guilty thats why
Glad I got the points and hence I am able to showcase the double standards of some of the mods and the ironic nature of the reporters here

Haha on one hand true, its your infraction not mine.
On the other hand, I think we can both agree that both our posts here point to the same things a) Double standards of some mods, b) arbitary and not systematic awarding of points

Good that the admins are here too, maybe a good indication to look into it as it seemed to be not an isolated case
