Appeal against infraction

Dear Admin Dragon,
I appeal to you to retract my latest infraction.

The infringement quoted was Unnecessary comment. This is subjective and open to any interpretation, from Moderator to Moderator. It depends on the Moderators political stance, tolerance for jokes etc.

There is no fixed standard. There are definitely more comments in the forum more unnecessary than my comment., that are not infracted.

This is therefore unfair.

If my comment was unnecessary, then the post I responded to was also unnecessary.

So was the entire thread itself.

This post was made in July. It is August now. Almost 1 month later.

Someone has a recent vendetta with me and is obviously digging up all my previous posts to get me banned.

Is this how EDMW moderation team operates, to assist in personal vendettas?

I refer to your warning, the remarks made by you was lewd and inappropriate. Hence you were issued a warning for it.

I have corrected the warning for unsolicited content to forum nuisance.

Note that the warning issued is lenient. Strictly followed, the category for such postings is “Posting Sexual / Lewd / Indecent / Pornographic Comment or Content” which carries 6 points.

Reports are cleared on a regular basis and in this case, there are backlogs that the team is clearing. Hence, action on posts may not follow a chronological order. Action will still be taken on valid reports.

To address your concerns on people reporting and digging up your past posts to get you banned is untrue.

Similar action was taken on the quoted post.

If you wish, I would reverse your warning and change it to “Posting Sexual / Lewd / Indecent / Pornographic Comment or Content”

Lastly to emphasize, the forum does not assist users in resolving personal vendettas.

The warning is clear cut inappropriate. We will not entertain further appeals on this matter.

Hence my appeal was specifically addressed to Dragon.

There are definitely many comments more lewd than mine.

So many are referencing mangoes, the acts that goes with it. And I get infracted. Nice.
