The topic may not be nice. I am chatting with friends that came to wish me well. It is a happy chat.

I do not think it infracted any rules. Why lock my thread?

I made a comment that got 3 points. I think it is a fair comment. If mods find it inappropriate, they can remove it. But I don't think 3 point is necessary.

In the US, it is common to refer to African Americans as Black Americans. It is not a racist slur. It is only racist when they are called n i g g a ....... (a derogatory term)

Imho mods should educate themselves and not get triggered just because the colour of a race is mentioned or discussed. Study the undertone. Was it derogatory?

I see many posts calling chinese yellow yellow. No one bats an eyelid. There is nothing derogatory about it. Why is the same not true for others?

If I comment African Americans are brack brack de, nobody in the US will give 2 hoot. Why is this over played here?
