Appeal to SIT 2015

Hi all,

I have appealed to SIT's bachelor of Accountancy(Hons) programme. Previously, I've been rejected by all the courses in SIT. I did not even stand a chance to get interviewed by them... In this recent appeal, I've submitted my employer's testimonial (temp job)..

I would like to know the chances of me getting into the course... #troubled.
Kind souls with such previous experiences please enlighten me!

What's your poly gpa and do you have cca?

I'm an alevel graduate... My RP is about 60+ only. ): I've a CCA in school, and have held several leadership position.

ah i see. SIT is more for poly students thou. Maybe wanna try UniSIM?

What are the chances of alevel graduates getting into SIT? any alevel graduates who got in? I've applied into unisim FT accountancy, got rejected as well..
i guess my only option is SIM UOL liao!

sit more for poly. haven heard of any jc students going in yet. SIM UOL also not bad.. but the fees quite ex..

For the data above, you can see that the tuition fee forSim uol is actually cheaper than the tuition fee from a local Uni. So if SIM Uol is ex, what is cheap

yep i did but i think the chances are rly low. haha well tbh i'm still in the midst of thinking of plans but one of it will be naturally to enroll in simge (still deciding between uol/ub!)

haha actually i received acceptance from uol alrdy, but waiting for ub coz i applied recently only!
i'm an a level grad i did think of doing part time but i'm not sure if i'm suited for it. the timing of classes and environment wise etc.

I've accepted UOL's offer! samee, i'm an alevel grad too. i think we kinda lose out if we're not eligible for local u. Its hard for us to get a full time job and study part time unlike the poly grads becos we dont have a diploma cert and its unlikely that employers will hire us for full time perm job. The only route for us is private u liao. haha

I'm not very sure about UB, but as for UOL's timetable, i realised that their classes are held only 3hrs per day! so i guess its feasible for us to take up part time jobs while studying! haha, this is my plan

yeah sigh. i dont really wanna go private u though but no choice ):
yeap! but thats what worries me. lack of social life and not sure if i can maximise learning thru purely lectures.
