Dear Admin,

I would like to appeal for user Azzizz81 for his infraction that he allegedly posted pornographic images.

He is unable to as he was banned. But he had made public his infractions and I find it troubling that he got infracted for one case of "pornographic images".

The infraction is made to either one of these two threads.

To give some context, these two pictures posted by the user are famous art works that are open to public viewing.

The statue of David is available in an open street in Palazzo Vecchio.

If these world renowned statue or portraits can be paraded in public by countries, why can't it be shown in a forum like EDMW? Are we so conservative?

It's a person's crooked point of view and perspective made these obscene, not the art itself nor the intention of the threadstarter.

Just reviewed, his above mentioned infractions were for intentionally challenging and baiting the moderator's stance. His overboard actions were due to a previous infraction on another post of his showing a half naked japanese lady.

You were involved and privy of the arguement between yourself and another moderator which indirectly led to Azzizz81's defiant actions hence you should understand that this was not merely a case of posting pictures of reknown artworks.

Some of the infractions he has accumulated were due to the fact that he is posting suggestive photos with titles as a challenge.

As for the infraction points on David and Goya's Nude Maja, agree that they are artworks and as such do not fall under Posting/Sharing Indecent/Pornographic or related materials. As such, only goya nude maja post is reversed.

Do take note that it doesn't mean that you can use artwork as an excuse for naked pictures etc. It will depend on your posting history and the content of the first post to determine the intent of posting.
