I would appreciate it if any mod could help me, to help explain the situation to me or help in this ban issue. This is with regards to the permanent ban of the account ericmagnuslensherr.
I have tried to avoid creating a second account, and have instead tried emailing for support via the HWZ support and feedback site but did not receive any reply.
One day, i logged in and was surprised to see that i had been perma banned. The reason given was "PM Advertising". I do not remember doing such a thing, and did not receive any warning or infraction prior to this. The account was created since 2004 (9 years) during which time I have not used any other account, and believe I have kept to the rules. In recent months I have been more active in the proposal ring thread trying to help various bros with their e-ring and diamond matters. A number of them have approached, PMed me asking for guidance and I have obliged. It might be related to one of these cases which the account was banned. In most cases however, I was PMed first and I rarely initiated a PM. The latest PM I remember was a bro asking me for help on where to get his diamond appraised to which I recommended a number of appraisers. When he informed me he would also like to get it laser inscribed, I recommended one which I knew did both inscribing and appraisal (Sigma Labs) mainly for his convenience. I wanted to access my PM to see what else I replied which could be mistaken for PM advertising but as I was banned, had no access to it. If you have access to my PMs, please feel free to go through it.
I would however like to clarify that I did not intentionally advertise to or for anyone and mainly replied to people who contacted me or when I felt I could help other bros. I do not work for any lab or diamond/e-ring related establishments, and am employed full time by a local organization. In the email via the feedback page, I provided my work email and contact number for clarification. If any mod can help, I am willing to provide/PM any employment or employer details through which the mod could contact to verify my full time employment to help resolve my issue.
As mentioned, I have had the account for 9 years and am pretty attached to it. If I did something which could be taken as pm advertising, it was done in error and I promise to be more careful. Please accept my sincere apologies and I hope I can be given a second chance.
