Will be good if u went for interview before
I received the rejection letter from SIT for the 'BS In Computer Science. I planning to appeal. I also in mind to switch to Electrical Engineering & Information Technology, BSc. My GPA is 3.248 & score Dist & A for all the Math.
What is my chance for appealing?

I had gone for an interview but was for the selection of Information and Communications Technology (Information Security), BEng (Hons). My application being rejected. Maybe I did not score well (B and C). I was in computer engineering in SP. I planning to switch back to Engineering field. Just hope to hear some advice

Oh well

The first half of June is almost up and no reply. I'm feeling kinda demoralised. I mean, I mentally prepped; expected the worst and hoped for the best, but it still sucks. I've been looking at private institutes where I can get a certificate after going through a 10 month course. (It's a little pricey though.) If anyone out there has any advice on what I should do now, or know of any institute I can pick up helpful skills in programming or design (or something similar) I would be extremely grateful. I hope all of you has gotten/will get the result you wanted :)

I have been advised by family members that I should try and get an internship (but I have no experience or skills) or jobs and courses that can help.

(1) if u hve the passion, u can pick up programming skills with youtube videos or books from the library or the web. seriously u don't need to go to a u to learn programming. but a degree would give u the formal recognition.

(2) programming is not for anyone. i have seen many diploma or degree grads who still can't program.

retake As,i personally don't feel like retaking, bio syllabus changed and application topics all changed, don't mind learning but can't find resource.

Don't bother for private institutes, unless you don't mind wasting the money, else job hunting is very very difficult, there are plenty of pass degrees from local Us for companies to hire instead of one with a private uni degree
