Hi All,

Apple is doing a recall on it.

It seems that the Well Shin Adapters were affected by it.

As for me, I had purchased this World Travel Adapter Kit in a couple of years back.

Had one experience from my cousin ipad charger, which the UK adapter plastic part broke off, exposing the live connections.

Will be also checking with Apple how are they handling it.

Also have the world travel adapter kit. Think I will go down to the local apple service provider for the exchange.

How do I get the replacement if I bought the World travel adaptor kit?

Bought in 2006 (i think), the link says need to verify Mac, iPad, iPhone or iPod serial number. I don't even think I have all the plugs anymore but my Korea plug is in the affected batch. Can't find the European plug though. The only reason I keep them around is cos I am currently using Macbook air. The travel adaptors have lasted longer than my iPod 1st Gen :(

ETA: I tried the exchange via web link and it said to contact Apple if its to exchange the World travel adaptor kit. Strangely I keyed in the serial number for my Macbook Air (bought from China) and I can get a replacement European adaptor for it.

jus send in the plugs at QCD or any authorised service centers. take note of the serial number of your Macbook Air as they will need to register the plugs (i think) to your Macbook Air.

Apple is sending me the replacement plug for my Macbook Air on Monday via DHL but not sure if I have to send it in via DHL too. The World travel adaptor kit plug is separate from the MacBook Air though which came with a China plug.
