Apple Care cover accessories?

I know for a fact that if I order my macbook pro from Apple directly and have the ram upgraded from the factory, any problem with the ram will be covered under the 3 yrs of Apple Care.

My question is what about the accessories such as USB dvd drive, magic mouse, thunderbolt to display adaptor etc? Are they covered for 3 yrs?

What about if i buy the usb dvd drive separately from a physical store later on whenI decided I need one? Covered?

Yes they'll be covered.

the dvd if u buy later on also stay with applecare contract
means it will be 3yrs frm yr mac not accessories

last time i buy iMac from nubox
then i buy applecare many mths later. then i bought trackpad many mths later. also cover le. what is separately then no? don't make sense le

Thought it's required for the purchase to be on the same invoice. Hmm, I guess it's better to enquire with AppleCare then.

Searched Apple Care terms and condition:

3.2 Covered Equipment

In addition to the Apple-branded product and accessories contained in the original packaging, “Covered Equipment” includes the following according to your Plan:

(i) Under APP for Mac, (a) one compatible Apple branded display if purchased at the same time as the Covered Equipment, (b) an Apple-branded mouse, Magic Trackpad, Apple Battery Charger and keyboard if included with the Covered Equipment (or purchased with a Mac mini), or (c) an AirPort Extreme Card, an AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme Base Station, Time Capsule, an Apple-branded DVI to ADC display adapter, Apple RAM modules and MacBook Air SuperDrive if used with the Covered Equipment and originally purchased by you no earlier than two years before the Covered Equipment purchase.

(ii) Under APP for Apple TV, an AirPort Extreme Card, an AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme Base Station and Time Capsule if used with the Covered Equipment and originally purchased by you no earlier than two years before the Covered Equipment purchase.

unless yr dvd drive is a MAC and bought from MAC authorise retailer...
u cannot xpect apple care to xtend the same warrenty when u buy anda brand from abunehneh shops...

Sorry I forgot to state that the intention is to buy the Apple DVD superdrive at a later date from the authorised resellers/online.

Main reason being I'm not too sure if it will be a white elephant given how infrequent I am using my current macbook's dvd drive.

its gonna be white elephant..juz buy the cheapest 3rd party slimline model lark...
i hav 3 BLUERAY writers..1 usb direct
dunno got used more than 100 times TOTAL...

According to the T&C, seem like the Apple DVD external drive will be covered even if it is bought 2 years BEFORE I buy the macbook pro retina I am buying the Applecare for.....

How about a Magic Mouse? Is it covered for the Macbook Pro Retina? I cannot seem to add in Magic Mouse during the check out process.....

I am using a bluetooth Microsoft mouse with my current macbook for Photoshop editing....
