apple care + for iphone 6 - need help

Bought my ip6 last 2 weeks from M1. Plan to buy the apple care + from apple store, but the customer service told me that my ip6 was a HK set after checking the IMEi. if insist to buy it, after 1 yr need to bring the phone to HK for warranty. Is it true? anyone encounter this?

Tell them that you bought it locally and have receipt to proof your unit was bought from a local telco.

why you mention is brought from m1 but like LLST that it is HK set?

mean you really got from hk? if is from m1 show them with receipt

Check your receipt. The receipt I got for my purchase with Singtel has the IMEI printed clearly on the receipt. If you have the IMEI number printed on the receipt, you have a case.

Called m1 side already. They said they also not sure it's a HK set. It's Apple side send it to them. I think should be fine. Check with qcd tech, the Apple care + was an international warranty. Think Apple side not sure about their own product.
