I was thinking like u. Ignore the pw chg prompt, but every few days the past 2 weeks been getting such prompt …

Allow access , Lock in attempt etc

now it force me to chg pw

just feeling odd over the years, eventually I’m facing with hacking attempts 😵

If it ever happens to me, I personally don't mind the hassle of changing password & potentially retyping password once per device.

Between a compromised account vs a little hassle retyping password. Changing password seems more viable imo. Relying fully on 2FA may not be the wisest choice.

Sometimes we’re confused if our acc really hacked or it’s another kind of scam

use bitwarden to generate a 12 characters password and remember to configure 2FA for your appleid

ya lor. not so easy to just change it
Unless you are using icloud email address which can't be changed anymore, it is easy to change. Just create another email or alias if you using outlook address then change to that.

Well if you prefer to use the same email then just use strong password and enable 2FA should be good enough.
Personally, I use seperate email address for different purposes.
