Which maps do u prefer and why? In other countries, I would feel there's a difference in accuracy. But in SG, any app will do just fine right?

Google Maps is still better imo. Though the accuracy of Apple Maps has improved a lot over the years, and the team is actually really quick in fixing reported issues.

Call me nitpicking, but the fact that Apple Maps doesn't show which line (NEL/EWL etc) the train stations are kinda irks me.

Apple maps is still learning.. It was hopeless when it first launched. Till now it doesn't have transit information, have inaccurate info now and then.

Always uses Google Map because Apple Map doesn't show Blk no. in housing estates & house no. in private estates. Just showing roads only is useless and you can even have satellite view.

I use Google Maps over Apple Maps as I find Google one to be more accurate. But my main GPS app is still Garmin SG/MY and recently also downloaded Citymapper for my Apple Watch.

street directory is the best map app

It used to be good; now it's crappy: full of ads. Lucky I've got Adblock otherwise everytime when I search for directions, I'd be forced to endure 5 sec of bloody ads.

Google Maps is better than Apple Maps hands down, at least in Singapore. But that's not saying Google Maps is best, far from it. I still prefer Street Directory because it has all housing blocks and carparks and detailed info, something Google Maps still has a long way to go, again at least in Singapore. If only Street Directory will bother to clean up and improve their mobile phone apps.

I am a cyclist here. I been using apple map right after them announce the improve of the apple map maininly becuase they apple map is the only 1 with bicycle map for free.

Apple map dont have public transport, but as for bicycle, driving, it more clean, simple then google & other street map.

Anyone tried citymapper? Seems to integrate well with good info from our sg transport

Using it but more on my Apple Watch instead. Good thing is that now it's a native app to the watch and also bus timings are self-refreshed by the seconds, so no refreshing needed.

No one use Garmin SG/MY here? Long time Garmin user. The map is very detailed. Most importantly the turn by turn is super clear on Garmin
