Would like to hear some opinions from you guys on Apple's Lossless music. Can the 16bit/44.1kHz quality be differentiated using a basic noise cancelling wired headphones?

It’s quite difficult. Maybe in less noise environment you can hear higher extensions and clearer separation in the music. For now lossless is best enjoyed using high end wired headphones or speakers.

I’m also learning about this.

Apparently the dongle that apple used to give that converts lightning to 3.5mm is able to “supports up to 24-bit/48 kHz lossless audio.”

anything higher you need a external DAC.

As for sound quality there is definitely a difference I feel from listening on the AirPods Pro and a high end headphone but mines just a beginner tier headphone so I dunno will it matter on a SGD3k one anot

I believe AirPods models only supports Spatial/Dolby Atmos? Mind sharing more about your headphone? I have a CIEM with 1x BA and 1x DR. Currently using it with the dongle which I heard also has a built-in DAC that supports 24bit/48kHz. Wondering if it would make a difference with the good seal and all.

I haven't upgraded to 14.6 yet due to the battery life reports. So I'm going to wait out for 14.7 and then probably update my IOS then.
