Anyone with DBS cards managed to activate? My Altitude Visa has been stuck at "You card is being activated" for the past few hours. SCB cards all can activate.

My altitude visa got activated fast. Within a min. But I notice that I had to pay with passcode instead of touch id.

One thing about the scb promo to add: if you don't wish to whack $250 at a go then you can just do one transaction first, even if $1- to be under the 1st 10k to make the first charge to qualify.

After that then can slowly accumulate till $250 -before the due date.
Dunno if dbs the same.

Hi OCBC,

Thanks for your official reply.

I also went to the official Apple Pay Singapore website, it states that we can still enjoy whatever rebates or specials as usual per individual card.

So my interpretation would be that the special Apple Pay rebates would be stackable for the other banks eg DBS, SCB too.

Hi Knightoftheblackrose,

Taking the 365 card as an example:

The promotional 3% Apple Pay rebates is stackable, say 3% + 6% on weekend dining.

Do note that the cap of $15 for the promotion is considered under the $80 rebate cap for 365 Credit Card as per the T&Cs.

I use Singpost card too. Should be able to spend $250 to get $50 rebate right?

I have the SCB SingPost card too.

I read the SCB Apple Pay promotion fine print .

It states that if successful ( i.e. If part of the 1st 10k), SCB will provide a notification via SMS or mail only on the 31/7 which is the final day of the promotion.

It says "not later than 31/7" so could be earlier than this date.

Anyway last day to use is 25/6 anyway.

Better to check with individual banks.

For ocbc, I still have my reservations. Mainly because the part explaining that we can still enjoy the rewards and benefits of individual cards is found in FAQ but it's not written down in the T&C for OCBC Apple Pay.

Very sneaky.

tell them applepay .... but if they dont know what that means, tell them paywave, its the same terminal and I suspect the cashier will use the same setting for payway/applepay. Did it at ntuc yesterday and she understood paywave but not apple pay.
