Apple Play

Good day people.

My broadband contract ends next month and i am undecided if i should have a broadband afterall. I ONLY watch netflix while on broadband but surf net, watch videos,fb etc all on my phone that is on 4G network. I got 37gb of phone data every month.

My question here is can i connect my iphone direct to apple play without having a router/broadband connection? I am thinking of just downloading netflix shows onto my phone and do a apple play direct to my tv. Is that possible or is there a need to have a wifi connection. Anyone can advise?

Don't have to be so hung up on the right names. TS meant Airplay Screen Mirroring right?

apple tv will function better with broadband. you can download the media contents to apple tv and the phone as well at the same time. if you're just into airplay, then the apple tv will be an overkill..
