$3099 is only less than one mth salary here. Still much better than Malaysia, their is RM9999, at least 3 months of their salary.

To some it's just bragging rights. I have a friend of mine who upgrades to 1tb model yearly, this year 2tb. But she only use up 200-300gb of her phone space. On top of that she has icloud subscription as well. Some people just want the best, for whatever reasons.

If she is a yearly upgraded, it makes sense. She wants to reduce total cost of ownership over the long term.

Anyway, can’t really show that she has the 2TB phone unless someone actually bothers to know her storage.

Anyone here have experience with pre-ordering through iStudio? This is my first time — I had so many tabs open during the launch and theirs went through the fastest. I noticed on their site it says orders will be processed on launch day, but I’m not sure how long that usually takes. I’ll be flying out on Wednesday, so I’m hoping I can get the phone before then.
