Hi all,

Hope you guys can help me out with some of my queries below. Thanks in advance!

- Will the 13" 2.9Ghz MacBook Pro hold out games such as Dota, Skyrim, and Fall Out 4?

- I plan to dock the MacBook with a monitor, keyboard and mouse, whereby I can use the monitor and laptop display, any recommended docking brands?

- Which monitor display is similar to the 27inch iMac in terms of quality and price? I understand there is also the thunderbolt display, but it has not been updated the last 5 years.

- Can the magic keyboard and mouse be compatible with the games stated above, I'm thinking I should get a razer mouse rather than the magic mouse if I play games such as those right?

You'll probably be able to play all the games just that you have to turn off lots of eye candy settings.

What kind of dock are you looking for? A thunderbolt dock for more USB ports etc? If you're looking at laptop coolers; don't bother. Your MacBook is sufficient in cooling itself

None out there, in terms of price and quality. I'd rather you get the iMac 5K instead.

I personally play TF2 DB with a Magic Mouse. But I would recommend against it.

I too wish I could get the iMac 5k but a laptop would be more suited as I will need to bring it around, so looking for an alternative as close to the iMac 5K

how about the 15 inch MacBook with the AMD graphic card, will I be able to at least get a better than average quality for the games?

I'm looking for something like this but not so clunky of course, the dock will have the thunderbolt ports or usb ports that you can connect to the monitors, mouse, keyboards, etc. you just need to put in your MacBook on top and it connects automatically

There are thunderbolt docks. You can't put on top of it as mbp doesn't have dock interface at the bottom. You use a thunderbolt cable to connect. Apple online store sells 2 brands, close to 400.

In the first place a Mac is not really built for gaming and Mac equips with GPU are mainly for work such as rendering and editing and some light gaming.

If gaming is your priority you should get an AfterShock gaming laptop or desktop.
