I've never really watch anything on Apple TV. While it is maintaining its market share now, I think the increase in price will likely see people stop the service.

Apply when you see something interesting that you want to watch. There is no incentive for you to keep the subscription active because Apple don't offer any discounts. So if you are applying it for a month @14 bucks, keeping it active for a year is just 12x 14 bucks.

I am subscribed to Apple One, so an extra $4 each month. But I find I really only use Apple Music and iCloud. I am also paying for YouTube premium and wish their YouTube music service wasn't so bad, else I may actually consider switching over and just pay $1 monthly for iCloud.

The UI just feels weird, I have no idea why it mixes the Kpop fancams I watched on YouTube (don't judge me) with my normal music suggestions, and unfortunately, it's not very integrated with my other apple devices. Last I checked, there's no Apple TV app, it doesn't support Siri or my HomePods (not really Google's fault), and I can't create shortcuts either (have shortcuts on my home screen to quickly access playlists).

I also have been playing around on and off with some third party Apple Music apps like Soor, Albums and Marvis Pro. So while I am not really happy with the price hikes, for now at least, it feels easier to just pay for the convenience of continuing to use apple services.

TV+, right now have Godzilla (which has practically zero Godzilla inside) and Slow Horses, not really much. There was a time when it really had a lot of good shows. Apple Arcade doesn't really have any games that interest me either.

Just feel like I am paying for quite a number of subscriptions and not really getting my money's worth from them, but still don't feel like cutting the cord either.

Yeah, you really can cancel.

After you get the free subscription, you can log into your Apple Account and see the end date / renewal date.

As long as you cancel before the renewal date, you will not be charged a single cent.

Just be mindful not to cancel too early, they will literally terminate your Apple TV account immediately.

They treat it as though you have signed up permanently.

Just that you are not charged for the first 3 months.
yea but lets assume u ignore the 3 months n u r really paying for it.

if i decided not to proceed with the following month and elect to cancel, do they still terminate immediately even before the end of that period?

if they dun then ok.

but if they do i think it is strange.

Once past the trial period, your credit card will be billed immediately.

For paid subscriptions, I have never cancelled any before so I can’t answer your question.
