Starhub say they looking to offer cellular Apple Watch. Anybody got any rough idea when is it coming out and why is it taking so long to be released?

Have been waiting for almost 2 months

When I purchased my SS LTE 2 days back at Tampines Nubox, the staff there told me he's also awaiting (M1) so holding back the purchase.

Now that Singtel's first to offer this, I doubt Starhub or M1 will take a long time....should be soon.

Well to be exact, Apple Watch cannot roam. It’s tied to carrier settings. So if the esim profile is set up with singtel carrier settings, it won’t work even if you have data roaming..

How much is the saving compared to local set

It depends on exchange rate.. plus usually cc will charge 2% off exchange rate.. eg. Conversion Rate is 80.xx .. use cc is actually 78%.. so u calculate and see whether u save or not.. the rate now is on declining trend

Days ago (26Feb) I bought Porter items from Amazon JP.

Local money exchange rate was around 12.35 but I was charged at a rate of 12.754 (78.405) including those charges.

These few days rate around 12.4x to 12.5x at money changer and 12.47 at XE.com.
"Might" got saving but not significant le......

Those buying in Japan can check again the rate before flying out of SG and compare but those wanna buy when returning to SG, I'm not sure will there be a possibility of the selected model u wanna get OOS.
