Anyway it's good to disconnect & click forget for all your wifi connection and reconnect again after paired with your AW so it will independently connect to the wifi even without your phone.

hahas thats unnecessary.

sometimes, users forget that their apple watch only support 2.4Ghz wifi. the 2.4Ghz wifi profile must first be connected to phone before apple watch receives the wifi profile settings. if user connected to 5Ghz and thats the only SSID it knows, then apple watch will not connect to wifi.

Apple watch also doesn't connect to wifi SSID with captive portal, just so you all will note.. :)

Tried unpair and reinstall .. then the mobile data section say .. you are already subscribed. We noticed that you already subscribed to Singtel Number Share with the number xxxxxx".

Now reinstall .. I'll see whether its working after that.

I reinstalled .. but when I go to the data section on the watch.. it prompts me to set up mobile data .. when I click it its say I already subscribed ..

I think Singtel need to help me cancel the number share and I try again.

Contact Singtel, I even tried factory restore before and it doesn’t work.
If u happens to read my previous post, I called Singtel not less than 5 Times and even chat with Apple online.

Maybe that's why Starhub and M1 don't want to go in yet .. Let Singtel run into problems first and let them see how to solve. So far ..not very Apple like experience.

I think is more likely to let Singtel to carry first as exclusive cos of bigger market share ba?

Apparently what I found from youtube clip is the reverse method of what you mentioned.

My series 3 used your method there's no wifi icon, once disconnect from the phone the red disconnect icon show on screen.

Current series 3 lte I used the reverse method (got wifi icon), connect first then sign-in to my wifi. Now even disconnect from phone it still stays online.

Just sharing what I experienced.

That’s not uncommon since there is a difference between how gps and lte versions switch networks..

My aw3 switches to wifi when I disconnect via Bluetooth, despite the phone has yet to connect to the saved wifi at the moment.

I’m trying to say is that as Long as your phone has saved a wifi network; it will be pushed down to the watch and your watch will prefer networks in the following manner:

Bluetooth>wifi>LTE..

Nope, able to send iMessage/Sms so phone call shouldn't be an issue.

if u want to receive whatsapp msg when ur phone is not with u but only ur aw3 LTE, keep ur phone switch on with cellular or wifi connected to ur phone.

if u switch off ur phone or turn airplane mode, when u r out with ur aw3 lte u could receive phone call and sms and imsg but not whatsapp msg.

Those gotten LTE model, does your watch produce a loud clicking sound when pressing on the button? I owe the 1st generation, the clicking feel just doesn’t feels right.

There will be an audible click sound for the power button and the digital crowd. How loud is it acceptable for you I really have no idea..

Just called Singtel 1688. Asked them to terminate my Numbershare. Seems not immediate. Can only try to reconfigure this afternoon.
