Anyone tried?

Yes for series 3 and before I have tried it before. Can fit is can fit but it’s ugly. The mechanism lock in the middle hence fitting it is of no issue. The smaller band do NOT flush with the chassis curve. End up recess in like in the YouTube. To me it’s not ok nor nice.

PS: this youtuber don’t know to unlatch apple’s idiot proof band wasted my 5-8s of my life rooting for him to succeed in unhooking the band

How do you guys clean your Apple Watch and especially the Milanese Loop? Just want to make sure that I do not accidentally spoil the bands.

I’ve been using the Milanese for a long time, since the original watch. I wash it daily after every use and you can just use regular hand wash and gently rub it on both sides of the strap, then rinse it off with water.

Use an ultrasonic cleaner. Very versatile and can clean a lot of things. Hobbyist Cleaners are under 50$ only.

Do you take it out from the watch case or just wash it together with the watch itself?

Okay thanks! Will look into that.

For me it's one end of the range or the other. I'd buy the Aluminium with GPS. If I was going to add $150 to get LTE on the aluminium then I'd spend the extra and go for the SS which looks nicer. The model in the middle, Aluminium plus LTE feels like the worst value. The market seems to agree because Alu + LTE has been fairly available for 'today' pickup, every other model I've seen nothing for for days.

And I need the 40mm, 44 bit large for me.

I think so too. Al + LTE price is already $800 for the 44mm.
