Apple Watch 4

Looks like all models out of stock and got to wait 24-30 days when order on line on Apple store.Kind of odd that even the al 40mm non cellular models which are least popular also got to wait same time window. It should be faster delivery window unless all totally out of stock for all models right? Anyone out there going round all the Apple retailers to check Everyday?

Non-cellular models are more popular, they're $150 cheaper and you don't have to pay Singtel $10 a month, if you're even on Singtel, if you're not, you can't even use the cellular function. If you always have your phone with you anyway or have WiFi available, the cellular adds very little benefit. The Aluminium GPS only have been the fastest to sell out every time there's any available.

See my previous post for Apple store availability this morning, not much, but if you want cellular there's some.

Yeah I don’t for my analog watch.

But for the Apple Watch, the most I will go is a sp, case will spoil the design. Just more rough w my Apple Watch for gym n run. Sometimes In office also accidentally hit the table edge. :(

guys, if I've been using Runtastic to keep track of my runs on Garmin, must I continue to use the Runtastic app on AW4? Or can I use the built-in Apple function?

Depends on your use case, for me I can leave my phone behind when I go for a swim / run and with the LTE I can get music / perform simple answers for important emails if any for runs and still unlock my gates and doors.

It was nice also when I had to run a quick errand at the ntuc but this one I purposely left my phone back home lol.

is cellular worth it ?

is cellular worth it ?

different ppl , different needs, so really up to u if u need or just nice to have those feature.

find out what kind of features the cellular provide. how can it help you with ur daily routine. is it good to have or u need it.
is it that critical that u cannot afford 30 to an hour (eg excerise, etc) uncontactable
lastly, r u ok to pay extra $10 per month for those features.

so if u want SS..then no choice. but if u considering Alu .. think might as well use the extra $150 + $10 monthly to get AppleCare

In my case, I'm looking to move from my current aluminum to SS and as such, there is no choice but to go with cellular. I have been on aluminum Apple Watch since AW1 and have been without cellular. There is no doubt cellular will provide some convenience but you have to decide if the extra $$ is justifiable.

While waiting for the SS order to be fulfilled, I'm using this time to think if the extra $430 is worth it in my case to move from aluminum to SS...

is cellular worth it ?
