Anyone knows if Hermes at Changi Airports stocks the Apple Watch? I want to try to nail one when I take off in about 2 weeks time.

Have any of you found any big electronic shop with apple watch available? My friend got the SS black milanese at HN Northpoint but when I got there it was sold out.

Btw I remembered Apple’s sapphire glass is not pure sapphire glass like watches. There are tests online proving it. But it it still better than ion X I believe.

The default band / loop for 44mm .. does it matter if I have smaller wrists? Which should I go for?

Th watch comes with 2 bands of different lengths.

Previously, I'm using the 38mm loop for my 42mm coz the 42mm loop is too long with the end extended after I secured on my small wrist.

Fortunately, I was able to use the 38mm loop for the new 44mm and I keep the original bands.

Anyone finds the hepatic strength weak compared to S3? I read about this somewhere but didn’t expect it to be this different

Yes. It's noticeable when I moved to the SS. Not sure if it was because of a heftier material.

I use it mainly for my runs, when I can leave my iPhone behind.

The watch will switch to the LTE when it is out of range from my iPhone, and it re-connects seamlessly when I'm near to my iPhone after my runs. Since my runs are short, I don't usually receive calls/messages during these short periods.

I read that there are other users who use the LTE for their Apple Music streaming, these group of users may give a more holistic feedbacks.

So far how is it? Like how’s your usage with the LTE like?

i have 2 phones, my AW is tag to my personal phone and i would carry my company's phone.

i dont use much of my personal phone these days but with my Aw3 LTE and now aW4 LTE, i dont miss any1 if they call me or msg me via my personal phone.

some off days i dont even carry aphone anywhere.

1 point to note though if i dont carry phone i dont have a mean to take pixs when needed.

Similar like you, I would go for runs with my Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE. Plus, also bringing along my AirPods, and streaming Apple Music (the Pop Workout Radio) over LTE. And that’s all I bring = Apple Watch + AirPods.

However the battery drain is sometimes great, especially when the Apple Watch needs to clock your workout, streaming music over cellular, and also the Bluetooth connectivity to the AirPods. But a 30 mins workout shouldn’t be a problem at half charge (50%). It drained of about a total of 25% to 30% for myself.

Okay. Thanks guys for some information on how you utilise the LTE function. Most of the time it’s sports related.

On my Series 3 LTE, I mainly use it when I go for short errands or to a nearby coffeeshop for dinner. I’m not a sports person though but the LTE feature is quite useful for me.

It’ll be the same for the Series 4 when it arrives next mth and seems like watchOS 5 has improved batt life for LTE usage a bit.
