but 42mm would be too big for some people

Hmm ... i bought 42mm for my GF plus the rubber band.
fits her well, just need to swap the band with the shorter one (included in the box)

Do they have aluminum series 2?

nope, i recalled series 2 alu / ss gone ... only left the SS milanese loop that nobody wants
series 1 & series 0 they have, basically last years model that they can't sell.

how much should a used AW Gen1 (2015) in market place?

2016 Series 1 brandnew is:
$398 in apple sg online or local shop
$372 airport (no gst)

I can see people selling a used Gen1 in carousell as $300. is that high?

Seems like Series 2 also very popular and most retailers are OOS. Am so glad to be able to grab the last piece on Sat night at iStudio Paragon :s12:. Rose Gold 42mm Sports with midnight blue strap.

As for iStudio at airport, confirm it will be cheaper as it is tax free but must (i) be in stock; and (ii) show departure tickets. I bought the extra straps from them last time when I was there. Here is a shot of my Series II with the red strap.

hmmm... i don't have the biggest of wrist i also feel 42mm fits just fine, largely due to its squarish shape.

I went with 38mm mainly cos I'm using as fitness tracker-- Swimming and Cycling. Want something smaller for these activities...if as a result my daily wear becomes smaller than so be it :s22:

I'm still considering whether to get series 2 to replace my first gen one as I really like the GPS function. But some said the GPS feature is mainly for workouts/runs and will turn off if your iPhone is with u or connected.

The main thing is that when I'm overseas, I wish to use the GPS in the watch to check local weather and location via a third-party weather app without having to connect to my iPhone. Is it able to do just that?
