I didn't know it was available here. So you can pay for your Starbucks purchases using passbook on your Apple Watch?

I think Starbucks SG does not have a Passbook integration, for like ages. I have only used Starbucks Passbook card (via iPhone of course) in the US.

What can you do with Passbook here?

This at GV just recently, to pick up the popcorn and to enter the cinema:

are you in Singapore? I have to use the Starbucks app for that.

Yup I am in Singapore. You need to add your Starbucks account into passbook and then open passbook on your watch, boom you can pay your Starbucks purchases with your watch without even touching your phone!

Edit 1 : Oh, I think I used an app called stocard with my starbucks account and somehow my Starbucks account appears in passbook and I have been using it ever since.

This is awesome. I never knew we could use Passbook for GV and Starbucks here. Thanks for the heads-up!

Yes it does. More than a year already.

Hey just to check. How does this work exactly? Do you download the iGV app and when you book tickets, you add the QR code (quick tix) to Passbook? After that, it will be accessible via the Passbook app on Apple Watch?

You're right, you book through the iGV app and after the booking has been paid and the receipt displayed on the app, you scroll down and just below the QR code, there is a button that says "View in Passbook". Once you press that, you will be shown the Passbook interface with the Quick Tix displayed. Just tap the "Add" option on the top right corner and it will be added to the Passbook app (and iGV crashes lol).

It will be synced with your Watch's Passbook app too.

I would recommend buying the Spigen Apple Watch Stand which I am using now. Here is an unboxing video which I made which you may be interested to watch : https://youtu.be/bTvc3K1YSW4
