Yes but the finishing will not match. sport model is matt silver Aluminium and the milanese loop is polished stainless steel. Also, stainless steel will corrode aluminium thru time.

At first I thought prices were line ball with Australia (e.g. Sport is S$518 which is about the same as A$499) however looking at the ones I bought - 38mm Stainless Steel Case with Soft Pink Modern Buckle S$1088 and 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Sport Band S$878, they're both cheaper in Singapore (A$1099 and A$879 respectively) even before converting AUD/SGD! D'oh! (and I didn't get GST back unfortunately).

Oh well.
