Hi,

just purchased my Macbook Air a few months ago. I still have the 1 year free warranty, and is considering AppleCare.

Is it worth it ?

If you bring your MacBook Air out most of the time, it will be much more worth to get it!

But it is still worth the small 'investment' even if you don't as the battery, motherboard, screen could be quite expensive. Especially if the MacBook Air is mostly soldered.

Treat AppleCare as an insurance / investment.

Hardware can fail anytime and apple parts replacement is not cheap.

I would say go for it.
