It does. Only issue is you can only get the one with thefts which costs a bit more. After the update, I think the coverage for theft is now worldwide. Coverage for AppleCare plus is no different from buying from Singapore.
Not sure if the theft part will work out since they might be T&C that states residencce etc. will need to be in US.
I shall research more on this.

Hmm. They are allowing upgrades in the middle of AppleCare+ subscription, even for an old ip14pm on monthly renewal(more than 3 years old).

Looks like AppleCare is so lucrative that they are lowering the barrier to entry

It’s easy to upgrade to one flexible plan.

With AppleCare One, you can simplify how you cover your Apple products by protecting them together in one plan. It’s a convenient way to manage all your devices from one place.1
1
Go to Settings on
iPhone, iPad, or Mac
— or enroll online.
2
In Settings, tap General, then AppleCare & Warranty.
3
Select AppleCare One
and authorize payment.

For now still not worth it for me. I could click as my main account was set up in US.

The way applecare1 is currently structured means that u need to keep urself signed in on multiple devices with a single account. Not suitable for my usage profile…..

if you own like 1 ip for work and 1 ip for home + Apple Watch/iPad and always use them for long time then may make sense, especially now vanilla AppleCare+ in us is no longer available. U can only get the version with theft protection now, so for now individual sg AppleCare+ is still more worth it for my profile.

Yes, iCloud is more for long term usage across devices than constant changes, pretty annoying honestly if one travels often and require constant account region swaps.

Ohh, the basic AC+ is replaced with AC+ with Theft? I wouldn't mind going for that honestly if it's available in SG, and that the policy works globally instead of just SG only.

The terms and conditions for the theft policy is interesting.

Direct, Sudden and Accidental Damage to Equipment, Theft or Lost

Equipment, or Mechanical or Electrical Failure of the Equipment taking place outside the Territory, on or after a date which is more than sixty (60) days after You left the Territory with the Equipment.

T. “Territory” means worldwide.

Maybe it means if you lose the phone in space, you won’t get covered…..
