Hello, recently my wife's application of medishield plan got rejected due to her pre existing condition. Is there any other way to get her covered? Or the only hope we have is to wait for the medishield life to kick in by end of the year? However the coverage for medishield life isn't good enough. Anyone can advise? Thanks

You can pm the pre-exist condition and I check if there are any insurer that will take.

For anyone with pre-existing, the safest is always to start with Aviva moratorium cover first. After that if you want to try your luck with another insurer, you can do so. However the moratorium clause state that they will only accept if you have not been rejected before in an application. Unfortunately you can go for the moratorium now.

We are told that we can't even go moratorium now as she has been rejected before.

guess only hope is medishield life, then choose gahmen hospital, stay in C or B ward, better than nothing

my parents were too old, so not covered by insurance, old people get up to 80% subsidy, so their medisave plus mine helps to pay for it, most important make sure u keep yourself healthy, live a healthy lifestyle.
