Hi all,

I've turned OFF the automatic updates in Settings > iTunes & App Store

So this morning I noticed that there are updates (Red notification on the App Store icon) and it ONLY consists of iPhoto, iMovie, Numbers, Pages, Keynote. 5 apps only.

But after I updated them manually, I pulled down Notifications Centre just now and saw that there are other apps like Candy Crush, Youtube, Flickr were updated. But all these "supposedly" updated apps, there weren't any blue dot besides them (the blue dot that shows an app had been recently updated). Only the 5 apps earlier that I updated manually had the blue dot.

So my question is, did the other apps updated automatically by itself? If so, how can it be when I already turned OFF the option. IF not, why are they being showed as updated in Notifications Centre?

EDIT:
And those apps that "updated by themselves", they don't appear in the App Store > Updates page. Only the 5 apps that I updated manually were listed there.

Here is the screenshot:

This shows the Notification Center notices about the Apps being "updated"

But doesnt show in the App Store

I think its not being updated cos there's no blue dot.

Check this: Settings -> iTunes & App Store and see if your "Use Cellular Data" option is turned on.

Okay. If you have updated to iOS 7.0.3, you monitor again. I'm sure got a way to rationalise this issue..
This happend AFTER i updated. The iWorks and iPhoto, iMovie were updated, i assume was due to the 7.0.3 upgrade

At the itune update page, does the candy crush etc updates date show today's date?? If it doesn't show today's date then it should be a bug.

If under today's date there is no other updates, i assume it is a bug.
