never seen such a slow charging speed... using Samsung 2A, every % ranging from 7to 10mins.
was recommended by Benny to try using 1.5A.

so far so good. audio quality is superb. though it's 9mm thick, overall quite a good grip. there's only a power button with the volume buttons are onscreen type.

If I were to get a Japanese import, this is the phone I would get.... but I'll hold off for now, because not being to make full use of the phone (e.g., GPS not working) is a deal breaker for me.

FYI bennyhk is selling the SH-06F for $150 more, so it's a no-brainer which phone one should pick.

The volume keys are actually not on the screen literally; they're not softkeys -- they are capacitive buttons on the face of the phone (on the right side underneath the screen).

Also, right now you can get this phone for $375 locked on eBay, so if you think you know someone who can unlock this for you, then get it on eBay and save a boatload of money.

Upgrade is android OS update. Apps is per normal like any android phone. Yes play store included.
Btw has anyone been able to do wifi tethering with this phone? As in set it up to provide wifi for other devices. Cannot find an app that works without rooting

i think it has some sort of stabilization feature (u can see it on the camera interface as anti shake or something but i am not sure whether its true OIS or software feature.

In anycase, i dont think too highly of the camera even though its 13MP. i think sony has better cams for japanese brands
