sinkies mostly want face value, so keep quiet, suffer silently. I observe a few uncles sleeping under the staircase every day.

小人物的辛酸
Because anything apart from staying silent is illegal? We can't even stay in unemployment statistics after 6 months. And god forbid selling tissues without a license.

Sleeping under staircase is illegal too btw

slipping definitely yes.
but the degradation of our culture and civil mindfulness is due to heavy FT influx which are low ses type
Mostly it's d local borns slipping thru d cracks. As it's not a level playing field out there.

But still if they voted for it. Then they get wat they deserved.

too bad, society forgets about them, not in statistics... hopefully their voted MP can help them.... i believe MP sees them often.

so far nobody calls the 999 to catch the uncle sleeping there. since he never disturb people, just let him be.

Because instead of solving the problem, their response is "If you don't like it, you can slip through the cracks"

Because it is impossible to help all ...

Just like in life, work and/or personal, it is impossible to please all.

Just do what we can, .. can liaoz. :s13:

Ok you know how last time it is very hard to go uni? If you cannot make the cut for local uni, you have to fork out money to go private uni? And if you no money, you just start work instead of taking degree.

But then now it’s much easier to enter local uni. The cohort participation rate increase rapidly.

So much so that “median fresh grad” is used as an indicator of “being average”

so the people in their 40s with no degree how? Salary still lose 20s with degree. Only got SkillsFuture which I don’t think can replace a degree.

Is this considered crack?
