And your loyalty is not rewarded. You can work in the current position for 10 years but new comer get more salary than you.
The only way to get more salary is treat each company as a stepping stone.

Planning to do that in next reviewUse the benchmarks and don't be afraid to go to your boss to ask for more pay. I did it before..successfully. Even if you did not get what you one, at least you have tried.
Let me give you a tip. If you want to get a better outcome, don't do that during the next review, do it BEFORE the next review. For eg, if the next review is March, do it by January. The reason being during review, the timeline is very short for management to adjust and make changes as the budget is more or less cast in stone. So you have to bring this up BEFORE the next review.Planning to do that in next review
