Hi All,
has anyone been to this place? How far is it from Bangkok and is it possible to drive there without knowing how to read Thai? Or should i charter a minibus from Bangkok? Welcome any feedback or advice. Planning to go in Dec.

No, have not been there. But I have checked, its located at Rachatburi, the one recently I just went, to Suan Phueng, 3hrs from bkk. I had my friend to drive me there.. She even didnt know how to go, need to stop by and ask the ppl.

My advice is - if you no good in thai or reading. Best is to hire driver there.. cos certain province when come to night, no lamp around... if u r not familiar, unless are you would like to take the challenge... :D:D

Hi goh6570,
Thanks for the replied. The place look so nice and scenic but I think it will be too much of a challenge for me since will be going with my wife and 2 kids only.
Thanks again, cheers!

Hi Daryl

If you wish to go, just hire a driver. You may find worth to visit. They have flintstone resort too, check it out. You probably can consider to stay there 1-2 nights and then back to Bangkok. Not too far from bkk if by car, around 2-3hours

Hi onlyway,
Thanks for the input. I will be going to Cha-am and stay for 3 nights. It's a good suggestion to go from Hua Hin, will try to arrange a transport or join a tour group if i can find one...thanks again!

Ya lo...u go R&R, not for amazing race.

haha, agreed! its very tiring travelling to so many provinces.. not advisable... especially you are travelling with your family... best is just to one place for relax... not marathon.... :p

Just one place at a time and one province itself has many places for you to explore... huahin can leave it another trip if u r gg bkk... cos its near to bkk, about 2 hours plus to reach there...
