Omicron can only be known via PCR test. Unless you are severely ill, elderly or immunocompromised you will not receive a PCR test as of 6 Jan.

How then can so many of our local cases be confirmed as Omicron unless we are only reporting PCR test results or that most of the cases are from high risk or severely ill people?
