Is this good news or bad news?

It means if shareholder lose money, they lose portion of their pay.
Dilution wise its similar to shareholders, its just that the trust pay fees by printing shares instead of sing dollar.... trust gets to keep 1M more cash while everyone get some NAV cut with no impact on dividend since dividend is fixed at $0.003 per unit for 2 years.

Nobody knows about future for certain, all I can say is insiders bought units at 0.174~0.178 if that gives you peace of mind.

I think for strategic review to produce good out come so soon is a little surprise! But who knows, maybe prior to that already got suitor. Strategic review is just so show they are impartial.

Based on my previous research I was expecting a little in the range of 26+ cents if buyout materialize, but thats just personal opinion. Worth of APTT is closer to 30c~35c per share.

There is nothing wrong with profit taking.

When in doubt, you can profit taking on 50% first. If price goes higher, you still got 50% to profit from, if price goes lower, at least you already retain part of the profits and still makes money.
