Helmet is made of Styrofoam right? Shouldn't be a problem to soak it..

Agreed. Anything stuck in the eye can be a real pain.

Looking to buy a ulac brand alarm cable lock. For almost same price, which one would u buy? One that uses aaa batteries but weighs 500g or the other one that uses button/flat type batteries and weighs 400g? I actually prefer aaa batteries because i have plenty of them rechargeable types at home. However i am concerned about the extra 100g weight penalty.

Not sure if soaking is a good idea but i guess brush/toothbrush + soap water to brush down the strap and helmet is good..

Lemme rephrase... maybe 'soaking it' is not the right term. What I would do is dip the helmet in a bucket filled with soap/detergent water a few times front and back, then I would rinse right away with running water and hang dry it near aircon compressor over night. It will be totally dry in the morning. Been doing this for awhile. I find it better than taking off all the padding to wash because this way could ruin the Velcro quickly.

That's just me.... :D

MapMyRide says I burned 3K+ calories so far this week. Last week burn 5K+ via cycling. Last 4 weeks burned 14,516 calories via cycling. Hopefully CNY can jiak with a bit less guilt. :s13::s13::s13:
