I'm riding a foldie. Even with very short rides (less than 30 min), my wrists will hurt. I have adjusted seat and handlebar height as much as I can. What else can I do to prevent wrist pain?

Which part of the wrist?

I installed Ergon GP5 grips, which allows me to have at least 3 different riding positions. Can comfortably ride for about 60km. Any further and I will need to wear bike gloves.

I'd agree with you totally on this, I called cheap John a few weeks ago and he had a Gios minivelo for sale, I am not sure if its still there coz he said it was the last one.
That being said, I think SG is more of a minivelo rather than a foldie country, the bulk of the foldies i've seen are rarely folded or kept indoors lol

The appeal of mini velo is that it is easy to manoeuvre tight narrow terrains such as urban terrain. And coupled with smaller HDB foot print, a mini velo makes more sense than a road bike. :D

But I do see a trend of increasing number of foldies. Every time I cycle along ECP, at least 40-50% of the bikes there (excluding rental bikes) are foldies. The main advantage is that one does not have to worry about having enough energy to cycle back, or one can immediately evacuate and go home when emergency crops up.

Actually mini velo or even roadies/mtb can also place in car boot with front wheel removed? Can always get a cab if emergency... but with a foldie the option of public transport is there (if you can lift it up a bus...)

By the way I managed to place two foldies in a car boot! One tern c7 and a giant (I dunno what model)

my brakes on my polygon roadie very hard to press down, front brake levers still okay, the back brake levers harder to press than the front one.

is that because of brake cables?

I like the looks of the old Raleigh MV7, too bad they decided to stop this design and make the new Raleigh MV7 with straighter tubes.

Anyone using rear baskets on market bikes? I thinking of cycling to further food markets to tabao food for family, but dunni how to pack soup containers back. I see those food delivery boys use simple durian baskets to contain the food, that's a good one but I dun want it permanently attached... You all think I can secure a simple basket to rear rack with just a bungee cord?

What happened to your market bike's front basket?

could be either the brake cable or you put too tight.

if the brake cable abit rusty, very hard to press down.
cartridge, soul wheels.

i dont have a 11 or 12mm allen key to remove the freehub, i think the front wheel needs truing anyway.
not so big i think normally its a 8 or a 10,

i have a 11 though but it used to remove my aftermarket ht2 bolt.

hmm, normally the bearings not so fast uplorry one. maybe can go rebound centre see look
