hi guys. I just received my brake cables from crc. tried to replace it, however, realised that it's very difficult to cut the brake cables.

Is there an easier way to cut the brake cables or must I use the dedicated brake cable cutter by park tool?

of course easy way is cable cutter. if not just keep cutting until the hole is straight. pump your muscles la, one time press it down if not sure not straight

Mountain bike question.

But rear cogs is nine speed. If I upgrade front derailer, can I upgrade to 10 speed front derailer or best performance is old 9 speed derailer?

Wah sian, will cost at least $100 to replace the fork right? :( I am quite fond of the bike but don't know if it is worth it or not.
