This person is cycling on a Tern Verge X10 with 451 wheels. His configuration is 56T front with smallest rear cog. So his biggest gear ratio is 56/11 = 5.1.

Can imagine how fast he will be if he is using a high end carbon road bike. But then he needs a foldable road bike due to space constraint.

Did he upgrade the bike components?

haha.. im currently just curious.... someone lend me theirs for just 1hr.... wana hit top and see and judge just how much a diff is, i do know MTB is slow....but the hybrid vs mid-tier road bike unbelievably big

Though the pick up for hybrid still hands down... other than that....the 9th gear/last, makes peddling very tough and gruesome

okay side question : when i hit top gear on 9th....theres......ticking/ tapping sound but if i downshift to 7th it seems fine..

should i bring it over for your mech to take a look ?>

Just tuning, bring it down anytime. wont take too long.

108rpm...... thats is super quick..... actually the guy infront also has high cadence, makes the whole video looks like fast forward

That's why he com complete 168km in just a few hours on his Birdy.

I felt damn stressed cycling with the two during some cycling events.

He changed the stock wheels from 406 to 451.

Change to oval chain ring 56T.

Changed from flat bar to dropbar.

But that's him. Almost none of us can reach that sort of cadence at such a high gear. Its his fitness, not the bike.

I don't doubt his fitness for one minute but from the shadow in these videos, he's riding road bike lah.

no la is folding bike. you see end of the video, near saf ferry terminal can see ths shadow

the guy in the 2nd video damn strong siol,, he pulled damn long, like almost the whole stretch of coastal. this guy pullled like 2 lamp post then swap liao
and in 2nd video, the video is ff at 1.2-1.5x

you wanna try just pm me, i can let you try, theres a loop around my hse. just need you to bring your pedals

i can mount gps data to both bike, so you can try 1 hour each.

I think they were practising some rotational drafting.

Anyway, PGSK riders are known to be pretty fast road bikers.
