Hi everyone, I am looking to get a bike to do duathlon (bike and run) hopefully triathlon in the future. (Still trying to brush up on my swimming skills). Any recommendation for bikes with a budget of approx 2.5k? Thank you!

2.5k roughly can have 2 big types of road bikes to choose from. Aluminium frame with higher tier groupset or Carbon frame with lower tier groupset.

Which is a more important aspect for a comfortable ride? frame or the groupset? I doesnt mind the heavier weight for aluminum frame.

Tay cycle @ vertex has some giant on sale, if youre like not very tall

i remember its less than 2k.

2.5k is okay actually. the other one that i really like is the trek speedconcept 2.5 i dunno how much it costs you need to check with treknology. might have limited stock since its already EOL

maybe can consider cannondale caad series 8,9,10 its Light Alu, ur budget denoates the groupset i guess. might wanna call up Cannasia for prices.
