My fren seems to like them..got no personal experience with them thou..went to another shop further down the street near a bank..

Yes i got try the shoes but to walk a few steps on floor only. Yes, only few steps.

The service at Tay Junction was absolutely disappointing when i bought the clipless peddles (deore xt) and shoes. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there if u are buying these.

1. They asked an inexperience staff to fix things up for me.
2. They didn't teach me how to use or how to hook onto the peddles.
3. They didn't let me use any trainer or do any adjustment for me. I am left to my own devices, until i approached the experienced senior looking guy (seemed like overall in charge) who seemed reluctant to share anything with me regarding the cleats. I have to specifically ask how to use and adjust the cleats and whether wrong settings would injure my knees. The answer i gotten is not up to my expectations. But to be fair, he asked the inexperience guy to adjust the peddles cleats brackets to the most loose setting since i am beginner.

The whole process is like i am begging them. I will not go back to them anymore. Damn regret going there.

seems like a pretty crap first time exp.

the first time i had clips i went to treknology in orchard, it was a great exp.

Sounds bad.

I bought and installed my clipless pedals at hup leong. The boss installed and taught me a lot, tell me to go back if I fall too many times. He then took some time to coach me how to get in and out and adjusted my shoes.
So far my experiences with the boss was good, though there are others who won't agree with me.

Already installed the peddles and all that. Didnt want to be nasty customer.

Lucky i am good enough to learn hooking on and off in less than a minute and getting used to it and doing it quickly in 15 mins. Also brought my Allen key to adjust during my way home. If rely on them die liao.

Cycling shoes are supposed to be snug, rarenick. If not, uncleating will be tricky.

Vietnam buy sram parts don't know cheap or not. I'm in Vietnam now, maybe tmr will go to the distributor and check it out.

If cheap will buy guide RS, X1 rear dérailleur, X01 shifter. I have XX1 crank, X1 cassette and XX1 chain already. Going to complete my groupset.

Tay is the importer for giant, so other retailers also get their stocks from them. Better off going to Tay, either bt timah or vertex.
