How to negotiate for space on road? I always have some fears.

1. Just before slip road, how to safely go straight while fast moving vehicles behind or beside is cutting leftwards?

2. How to safely move to the far right lane to make a right turn? Do we behave like motorcyclists to take a lane at the cross junction?

3. How to safely switch to faster lane when the buses in front stops at the bus stop? I also not sure when will the first bus starts moving.

For first question, rather easy, slightly before the filtering, all you need to do is to ride in the middle of lane 1 and hog the entire lane, until you reached the triangular kerb. Then you can go back to the edge of the road.

For the third question, I tend to hide behind the bus and wait for it to go first. Like Jay Bee mentioned, you can use the bus to minimise wind resistance. If its raining, I will target the doubledeckers and hide behind them for warmth. Lol

Overtaking buses at bus stops takes a bit of experienced guesswork. But the only time I dare to overtake is when I am following closely behind and the bus stops and opens its door. Any further back I will hide behind the bus instead. I'm always very scared of getting sideswept.

This is why I am honest and good. I do not understand why fling is so difficult.

Nothing to do with honesty and good/bad.

Its weak,cowardice and lax attitude that can turn off gals. Gals will wants guys who are determined, passionate and do their best in everything, including hobbies such as cycling.

I'm never scared of being sideswiped but I always think it over as to whether or not to hide behind the bus at the stop or continue past them. I don't like it when the bus and I have to play I-overtake-you all along the route. I would rather let them go ahead assuming, of course, that they are faster on the route than I am.

I am riding a stock cannondale caad8 with the 105 groupset now. What should I upgrade to make the bike stiffer? It feels like the bike is flexing quite abit when I am climbing out of the saddle. Feels abit like my MTB when I never lock the fork.

Same here. I paiseh to play catching with same bus. But i also scared i stop behind one bus then another one comes from behind me, i tio giap.
